Taking a walk along the new boardwalk in Niagara is a breathtaking lesson in the raw power and excitement of the Niagara River’s Class 6 white-water rapids. Years ago as kids we used to have to take a treacherous hike down to get a view of the natural masterpiece, but now you can travel in comfort and safety on the elevator that takes you down 70 meters to the bottom of the Niagara Gorge. There is over a quarter of a mile of impressive boardwalk that takes you along the roaring shoreline. Meander down the self guided boardwalk tour as you take in the crashing waves and experience the roar of the river! You will have a front and center view of the 410 million year old rock formations of the Niagara Gorge. All along the boardwalk are platforms allowing you to view the raging river moving at 48 Km an hour. The photo opportunities are endless!

The cost to access the Boardwalk is $13.00 for adults(13 years plus) and $8.45 for children (6-12 years). The attraction is wheelchair accessible except for two small areas. White Water Walk is a mere 4 km north of the Falls, on the WEGO bus route, near the Whirlpool Bridge. Within walking distance of the Niagara Falls Ontario train and bus stations. Free parking available. This is a seasonal attraction open April-November weather permitting.
